About
Lee started dancing Lindy Hop in 2010. She encountered it by accident, but everything in her life prepared her for that moment: she played jazz and swing music on the saxophone since the age of 9, danced ballet since she was 5 and performed with a theatre group since the age of 10.
In 2012 she started teaching at Dance Tel Aviv and in the course of the next 4 years she travelled as much as she could to events all over Europe and the U.S to dance, learn, compete and practice.
In September 2016 she began teaching in Swing Maniacs Madrid, in a residency program. In February 2017 she did another residency in Luxembourg, and in April of the same year returned to Madrid, where she taught regular classes with both Swing Maniacs and Animal Jazz.
Lee returned to her hometown of Tel Aviv in the beginning of 2019, where she started Hoppers, an organisation of swing classes, events and culture.
Lee's passion for dancing and teaching keeps getting greater as she continues to explore the world of Authentic Jazz dances.
As a teacher, Lee provides private lessons, group lessons, weekend workshops, teacher trainings and more. She is dedicated to perfect her pedagogy skills by always trying to provide the most coherent explanations. Good class structure, fun exercises and lots of patience are among the things you'll find in her classes.
As a dancer, Lee provides performances of improvisation or choreography, in solo, couple or group that can be adapted to different needs and events.
